I am being harassed by the POA President in Lakeridge over my dog run. They are fining me up to $200.00 per day. They filed a civil case against me. This has caused be thousands of dollars, and they are going to take me to a jury trial over this.

I filed a complaint with the Texas workforce commission and HUD for harassment and discrimination against women.

Things are heating up and costing a lot of money.
The president of the POA has no money out of his pocket. He has come after me with threats of foreclosure, had his POA attorney friends filed a civil law suit with a deposition pending in the POA's attorney office on May 21, 2010.

Talk about wrong. There are so many violations in that neighborhood that go unseen. How often does a POA take a home owner to court over a dog run, which can not be seen, because of trees blocking the dog run?

This is an invasion of privacy.

Our HOA has also made much money from transfer fees on refinancing of homes.

The "transfer fee" is just one of many HOA fees at the closing table. Others include, hundreds of dollars for “property inspection fees” that usually also unearth a last minute fineable violations. Of course, the closing table is a useless place to object to a $200. fine for shrubbery that may block house numbers, or $2,000. for improvements that were made 13 years ago by a previous owner.

The HOA scam and scheme affects all homeowners, not just the less affluent.
